just got in from the vets with olga. the vet thinks she has a swollen lymph or saliva gland and may have a bit of an infection but because apart from that she’s very healthy the vet’s going to leave her to fight off her infection on its own unless the lump gets any bigger.

tl;dr olga probs has an infection and if she does she’s fighting it fine on her own atm. yey.

i found a little pea sized lump in olga’s jowls (however you spell it) yesterday. it’s under the skin and you can move it around and it’s quite hard. i’m a bit worried (see: see lost 2 guinea pigs last year) so i’m going to get her into the vets asap. i really hope she’s ok she’s such an adorable little pig :(

she’s eating and drinking fine though etc. she’s alert and was squabbling with bianca earlier (she always does - since her bmfl died she has been a bit mardy) but i’m still worried because i’m ultimate paranoia girl and they can go downhill so quickly :(
